Originally known as the Department of Information Engineering (established in 2002), the department was renamed the Department of Applied Mobile Technology in 2016 thanks to the rise of mobile communication. The Department aims to cultivate professionals adept in technology, healthcare and management. Its students are trained to build a complete health management system from wearable devices, to risk assessment, and 3D games.
