YUMT actively promotes medical and cultural diplomacy; we invite the personnel of embassies and foreign representative offices in Taiwan to visit YUMT or to deliver speeches to foster more international exchanges. YUMT has hosted representatives from Nauru, Belize, Germany, and the Czech Republic. Additionally, YUMT’s Guang-Yu Art Center curates foreign cultural exhibitions so that students can learn about the beauty of different cultures and art from the aspects of history, life, and culture. The Guang-Yu Art Center has successively organized exhibitions featuring the art and culture of Japan, Malaysia, Korea, Vietnam, Germany, and Mexico. Moreover, each country’s embassy personnel or foreign representatives in Taiwan were invited to visit the exhibitions and attend seminars to expand horizons of our students.
