Summer School for Mandarin Learning and Field Study to Healthcare Facilities

Every August, YUMT holds a summer school for Mandarin training and research at healthcare facilities. In addition to language and cultural studies, this program’s unique aspect is the opportunity for field study at medical institutions of different levels, which enables students to comprehend Taiwan’s medical system and management. By comparing the medical systems of different countries, students can discuss the important meaning of “medical care without borders” from different cultural perspectives.
